great free program for desktop sharing.
it works very good specially for giving support to friends or client. also for mac, but you need to buy full license if you want to enjoy it to the fullest

Great app at enormous price! Switched to alternative....
Not every IT budget can justify the pricing. That's why I switched the whole IT dept to AEROADMIN and happy with it. In fact I don't need 80% of the features TV offers, and what is definitely included in the pricing. Nevertheless, it's a good app.

Product value questionable for small startup.
Great product but I can't afford the price. My mission is to provide no cost or low cost support for retirees on a budget, widows, widowers, religious institutions and Lutheran pastors -- all of which are on a fixed or limited budget.

Pricing is out of this world...LITERALLY.
The product is great however, I agree, their pricing is ridiculous. I use this maybe 9 or 10 times a month. They cut me off after 5 minutes now saying I'm using it for corporate use. This makes me hate the company and there is NO WAY I'd pay what they are asking for a license.

Too expensive to purchase, for a small startup. .
Stupid pricing, for small companies. It's not worth it. Great product, but they think they are worth gouging the price? if it were reasonable, I'd buy it in a moment, but 700.00? I found ways around the limits. A pain, to an extent, but that price tag keeps me at bay. 400.00 would be reasonable....They should offer less connections at a lower price, or something for smaller companies.

Superb Support-Tool.
Anyone doing remote support knows the following situation: The user on the other side is neither capable of telling you what he sees and if you tell him where to click bet 50:50 he does it right. Teamviewer jumps in here: you can see the user's desktop, you can guide him and take over control over his keyboard an mouse.
TV saved us hours of driving and endless helpdesk calls.
And combined with the option to do online meetings you can do software presentations without leaving your office.

... this is sooo much faster than telling somewhat how to fix things on their computer (most people always get the instructions wrong, or really have no idea what you are talking about.). No More. You do it for them while they watch their screen.Fabulous. And free for non commercial use. Kudos to the Teamviewer company and thanks!

It is a great program.
I have used this program for several months
It is a nice program to use for controlling another computer as well
as to transfer files back and forthBy giving it a fixed password you can make it work rather smoothlyThe only thing I don't like about this program is the annoying reminder that you should not use it
for commercial purposes even though you may indicate it.Other than that it has served me very well I am not sure why a few reviewers say that it doesn't work after a few timesI have used it for more than a hundred times.Also I don't know why some people say that you can't control the other

I have a great friend who has Teamviewer installed.He used it to connect with my laptop,and was able to share programs ,such as Adobe,explorer,and also be able tto look into my software and fix problems I had been having with adjustments to settings that I could not ever had done on my own. He uploaded music I wanted from his computer that I asked for that he had on his music files-maqking it easier for me to get the songs/ albums I was wanting,that would have taken me hours-days-months to find else where ,not to mention costly to download myself.If I needed help with finding a program or organizing files into there proper file,he did it for me through sharing Teamviewer with me
I just followed his directions ,signed in his id name, and he was in my laptop,fixing all the confusion and mess I had created. I'm no geek,so without his help,I would still be lost in here. Organized now ,so it's easier to find what I want.And ,the plus is he installed all programs I wanted. So, here I am downloading Teamviewer on my lappy ,customized to go to other computers I may have ,just by using one -All can be done at the same time. At one time there were 4 computers in the house! 2 girls,me and my husbands. then the lappy. This will make your life so much simpler. Did I mention ,this friend lives in Lousiana,and I'm in Michigan! BB

Very expensive solution .
This software only work for a couple of connexion than they say to buy and it stop every 5 min or less. If you want the same router/firewall passtrough helpdesk remote control software without limitation, try showmypc.com.

Like Magic.
People who say it does not work are probably using it for what it is not intended for. I use it for remote control and it has cut my operating cost by 60% and offer better, faster service as I do not have to send technicians to clients sites. The return on customers's good will can't even be measured. I would buy it for 3x its price. Good work guys...

Waste of time.
Does not deliver. This application should be listed under file sharing. To list it under remote control is not accurate. If you want to control anything on another system, you will have to pay for software versions, then spend days configuring.
Pros: Excellent program to move a cursor around on a remote desktop screen. If files are available on a desktop, file-sharing can take place.
Cons: Too many limitations. Beyond file sharing or performing a limited desktop demo, this application is useless. If you need to do anything other than look at a file in a file tree or on the desktop, you will be unable to do so.
